This research which used qualitative method aims to describe the types of directive speech acts that use downgraders as internal modifications and classify the illocutionary directive speech acts in the Covid-19 talk show, as well as, classify the types of downgraders used. This research is interesting to do because the official covid-19 talk show, especially, at the beginning of the pandemic, contains many directives from the government to prevent the spread of covid-19 more widely. However, on the other hand, the use of directive speech acts which can have a strong effect of damaging the face, rarely used in direct speech, so that speakers can save their face and their positive image can be maintained. Therefore, it is very interesting to know what downgraders are used to reduce the face damage in directive utterances. Using the speech act theory of Trosborg (1995) and Blum-kulka, House, and Kasper (1989) to analyze 25 contexts of conversation themes, it was found that there are six functions of directive speech acts that use internal modification of downgraders, such as request, direct, prohibit, suggest, command, and urge. Then, 19 variations of the downgraders markers were found. From the research findings, it can be said that the use of downgraders is important in directive speech acts, especially this can be used to maintain a positive image of the speakers and protect the face of the speech partners, so that communication can be well established.

This is a longitudinal case study that applies pattern-matching analytical techniques to explain the highly contextualized phenomena of the Velvet Revolution and to establish dominant themes and comparative patterns that have influenced the policy and governance agenda of Armenia since May 2018. The research sets out with questions on the message embedded within the Velvet Revolution and the extent to which it corresponds to the policy objectives and expressed outcomes that the government aims to accomplish. It then investigates the policy priorities and governance agenda that Pashinyan proposed to achieve during his tenure as prime minister of Armenia, weighed against the message he transmitted as activist, politician and protest leader, and the consequent deportment he assumed in order to build and sustain public appeal and trust. This article presents findings from the analysis of collected data pertaining to the period May 2018 through August 2019.

Although the Government of Kenya has been boosting effort in implementing free and compulsory education policy, transition from primary schools to secondary schools, retention and completion at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) have remained below 100 percent. Hence the study purposed to determine the relationship between learners entry behavior and implementation of free and compulsory education in public day secondary schools in Kitui County, Kenya. The study was underpinned on Liberal Educational Theory (LET) and used a descriptive study research design. The target population for the study was 655; 327 public day secondary school principals, 327 Parents Associations (PA) chairpersons of those schools and Kitui County Director of Education (CDE). Data were collected from a sample of 182 respondents; 164 principals, 17 (PA) chairpersons and the Kitui CDE. Data were collected by use of questionnaire for principals, interview schedules for CDE and PA chairpersons and document review analysis. Qualitative data were analyzed based on emerging themes, while quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Hypothesis testing was done using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (Pr) method at a significance level of 0.05. The study findings showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between learners entry behavior and the implementation (transition, retention and completion) rates (r = -.678; p= .01). In view of the forestated results, the study made conclusion that the indirect relationship between the study variables negatively affected the implementation of free and compulsory education. On this basis, the study recommended, among others that secondary school principals should adhere to the policy of admitting candidates regardless of marks obtained at KCPE and promote learners to the next class regardless of performance in previous formative examinations. This, would enhance prospects of 100 % transition, retention and completion in public day secondary schools in Kitui County and Kenya in general.

Financial Statement Standards for MSMEs are regulated by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants in the Financial Accounting Standards of Micro, Small, and Medium Entities abbreviated as SAK EMKM. Although there are many benefits obtained when MSMEs record financial statements according to standards, there are still some obstacles, including 65.7% admitting that they do not have a good financial record, and 83.7% rely more on personal funds to finance their business than getting loans from banks (12.7%), relatives (3%), or investors (0.6%). Several researchers have conducted research on the phenomenon of recording financial statements in MSMEs and researchers use these results to develop a research model by trying to explain the indirect relationship between the use of Qris as a payment transaction to the level of accountability through financial recording. This research method uses a Partial Last square (PLS) model with a population of 97,277 MSMEs and a sample of 100 respondents was taken. The results of this study explain that the use of Qris has a direct or indirect effect on Accountability through financial recording. The next suggestion for researchers to test other variables is because from the test results there are still several variables that are able to explain this accountability relationship by 45% when viewed from the R Square Adjusted value.

This is a case study that investigates the phenomenon of national identity using a qualitative methodology. The research questions consider the nuances of interpretation and understanding of nationalism and national identity and attempt to identify the influences of globalization and populism on the Armenian national identity. Data is collected from in-depth interviews with community leaders, legislators, party leaders, and academics, as well as focus groups with different age groups. The concept is analyzed using different lenses in an attempt to identify disparities of opinion among people with various backgrounds and in different locales, as well as the assumed triggers and underlying reasons pertaining to those differences. Beyond the pragmatic assessment of the impact of globalization and populism on national identity, the study sheds new light on the importance of and need for reconfiguring the processes concerning the adoption of a shared vision for the preservation of national identity and values.

The Birth Waiting House is one of the local government programs that aims to reduce maternal mortality. However, in reality, there are still many people who do not take advantage of this facility. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the utilization of the Birth Waiting Home by mothers giving birth in the working area of the North Gunungsitoli Public Health Center in 2021. The type of research is an explanatory survey with a cross sectional approach. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire. The data analysis method used was chi square and multiple logistic regression at the 95% confidence level. The results showed that only 21.25% of the respondents used the birth waiting house. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and the use of waiting homes for births by mothers with a p value of 0.000 (<0.005). Variables Parity, knowledge, attitude, mileage, health insurance and maternal health conditions are not related to the use of the waiting house by the mother. While the results of the multivariate analysis showed that there were three variables that were significantly related to the use of the birth waiting house by maternity mothers, namely the parity variable, family support and health insurance. And the most dominant variable is parity with a p value of 0.013 and an Exp (B) value of 10.405. It is hoped that every puskesmas should promote the SIGA husband/family program through counseling,

This study aims to determine: 1) Service quality affects trust, 2) Trust affects purchasing decisions, 3) Service quality affects purchasing decisions, and 4) There is an indirect influence between service quality and purchase decisions through trust in Shopee online shopping application users. The researcher used a quantitative approach with his analysis tool PLS in this study. This study used data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population of this study is employees of Lombok Astoria Hotel with a total of 110 employees. The study sample was 86 employees using the random sample method. The results of this study show that: 1) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on trust, 2) Trust has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, 3) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, 4) Positive and significant influences on service quality on purchasing decisions through trust. These results show that the quality of service and trust can influence consumers in making purchasing decisions.

The concept of goal setting is one of the aspects that have a relationship and also affects the level of academic procrastination of a person. Dream and future training is designed by emphasizing experiential learning models based on the concept of goal setting theory. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of dream and future training as an effort to reduce academic procrastination in first-school students. The subjects of the study were junior high school students from four schools in Banjarmasin City located around the riverbank. The number of subjects was 32 students with details of 16 students as an experimental group and 16 students as a control group. Data analysis using the SPSS program, which uses a paired sample t-test difference test to see the differences that occur in the pre-test and post-test of individuals in both groups. In addition, it also uses the Independent sample t-test to analyze differences in the experimental and control groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the academic procrastination of students before and after being given dream and future training and the sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. While in the control group it shows a sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.741 > 0.05, which means that in the control group there is no difference in the pre-test and post-test scores of students. In addition, Equal variances assumed known Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average academic procrastination in the experimental group and the control group. The conclusions of this study show that dream and future training can effectively reduce the level of procrastination in junior high school students around the riverbanks of Banjarmasin city.

This article has tried to explore the success factors of East Asian economic development by highlighting seven stylized realities, which include the contributions of structural change and technological change to industrialization and growth, as well as the functions of governments, productivity, investment, and exports. This piece of writing also highlights what other emerging nations such as Bangladesh can learn from the history of East Asian economic development. This is a theoretical study that relied on secondary data. Reference journals, books, local and foreign articles, working papers, websites of relevant organizations, and local and international newspapers were used to compile the data. This essay contends that Bangladesh can learn valuable lessons from East Asias development experience. However, development cannot be directly copied from elsewhere because it is the result of specific socially structured conditions and the process of changing those conditions. Different economies and institutions may learn different lessons from East Asia, depending on the problems they face, their desire and ability to address problems, as well as the circumstances under which they do so.

Tracer study is a study that traces graduates about their work in the world of work and society. The results of the tracer study describe the quality of higher education and are used as feedback to improve the quality of education. However, the tracer study encountered various obstacles due to the presence of graduates who spread across various agencies and regions. Therefore, a tracer study system is needed that can minimize these obstacles. In this study, a web-based tracer study conducted at UIN SAIZU will be studied with a waterfall model. The method used in this research is field research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, in-depth interviews with graduate informants and graduate users, documentation, and training. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman method with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study found that the tracer study using the web-based waterfall model became more effective and efficient. The information collected is systematic and tiered with real time, structured, and integrated data. Other results are the views of graduates who express their satisfaction with the implementation of postgraduate education and services at UIN SAIZU and the satisfaction of graduate users on the performance of UIN SAIZU graduates.

The Quran is a kalam (word of God) of Allah SWT which provides guidance for all mankind. The protection of The Quran has been guaranteed by Allah through human intermediaries in the form of The Quran memorization to maintain its authenticity. To produce hafidz or hafidzah, certainly, various efforts are made, including appropriate and effective strategies adopted in memorizing The Quran. In Indonesia, there are many Pondok Pesantrens famous for their superior program, namely, The Quran Tahfidz. It was qualitative research. The techniques of the data collection adopted were observations, interviews, and documentation. This study was aimed at describing and analyzing the Pondok Tahfidz Islamic Center Bin Baz Bantul in terms of its strategies in The Quran memorization. The data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Furthermore, the validity of the data was checked though data triangulation techniques. The results showed that there are three strategies for The Quran memorization at Pondok Tahfidz Islamic Center Bin Baz Bantul, namely preparation, process, and evaluation of The Quran memorization. The preparation for memorizing The Quran includes the determination of the target in memorizing the tahsin of The Quran, the usage of standard mushaf, and dad at-tahfidz. Then the process of The Quran memorization covers the halaqah tahfidz, the use of the method of The Quran memorization,iqab, a special program, and development. Then the evaluation of The Quran memorization includes memorization of tasmi, iktibar effort, and evaluation of the memorization and the sanad of The Quran memorization.

The effectiveness of entrepreneurship schooling is visible in its capacity so as to equip its recipient with important needful talents to cause them to be self-reliant and to lessen the manner many graduates quests for white collar process upon graduation. Therefore, this paper investigated the connection between entrepreneurship schooling and acquisition of requirements talents important for process possibilities amongst commercial enterprise schooling undergraduates in Niger delta University, Bayelsa State. The study consisted of all business education undergraduates in Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State. The sample size was made up of 300 undergraduate students. 100 students were selected from each of the three options in the department using simple random sampling technique. A self-designed instrument tagged Entrepreneurship Education and Skills for Job Opportunities Questionnaire (EESJOQ) was used to collect data for the study. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used to determine the reliability coefficient which stood at 0.68. The data collected were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The two hypotheses formulated were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that there was significant relationship between entrepreneurship education and acquisition of requisite skills for job opportunities among undergraduates. However, the findings also showed that there was no significant relationship between entrepreneurship education and willingness to establish enterprises among undergraduates; it was recommended that the Government should provide all necessary equipment and facilities in the tertiary institutions, in order to make the teaching of entrepreneurship education practical oriented in all Nigerian universities.

Informants were taken by purposive sampling, then snowball sampling was carried out. The results of this research, The Role of the Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Labor Office that has been carried out are the assistance of mikro enterprises and IPR (Intellectual Property Rights). For roles that are still not optimal, namely in utilizing the free shipping assistance program, KREDIT USAHA RAKYAT subsidies and the use of umkmjuara.id applications. and roles that have not been implemented are the SMEs bazar and assistance of RT Mandiri. The suggestions in this study for strategies is to use the SO (Strange Opportunity), need to be made regulations to use local SMEs products and need intense cooperation and coordination with villages, sub-districts and the Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Labor Office in empowering SMEs in Banjarbaru City

Language testing and assessment has a direct impact on teaching because teachers utilize test results to modify their course objectives, make better use of the materials and activities in class, and, if they are the testers, design better tests. However, there often have been a lot of gathered concerns in relation to the content validity of locally designed achievement English tests from the educators and administrators who always raise a question of whether the teacher-make English achievement tests faithfully reflect the course objectives, expected linguistic knowledge, skills as well as measures the real linguistic competence of test-takers. This study aims to seek out the evidence to comprehend the reality of teacher-made English achievement tests and provide them with the required teacher development programs to help them improve their proficiency in teaching and testing. The results show the majority of teachers have strong perceptions about EAT and have a good understanding of testing principles; therefore, they conducted their tests using an appropriate process while keeping in mind the English teaching and testing context. It can be noted that the findings from the study have shed light on important factors which relate to the effect of the process of test preparation and test construction.

Because of changes in some underlying factors, the land is increasingly becoming a source of conflict in rural areas of Bangladesh. One of the greatest issues Bangladesh is currently facing is the resolution of land disputes, which are causing endless difficulty in the lives of a significant percentage of the people. It adds to the already overburdened judiciarys caseload. Resolution of property disputes in Bangladesh is exceedingly difficult, laborious, long, and exorbitant due to a weak legal structure, delay in judiciary land arbitral proceedings, and rampant corruption in land administration. This Study examines the numerous types of landrelated conflicts that exist in Boluvpur village in Cumilla district, to highlight the legal concerns and obstacles that arise in their resolution. The research is conducted through primary and secondary data sources and primary data collected by interviews and mixed questionnaires. The author contends that to solve legal concerns in the settlement of land disputes regarding villages, the outdated land-uses planning system would require fundamental revisions and provide more recommendations.

Fraud in village financial management becomes the focus of research by looking at various previous research opportunities. Based on the existing phenomena related to fraudulent acts of financial management in the village government, this study examines the internal and external factors of the organization to be analyzed in terms of preventing fraud in the management of village funds. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of tri hita karana culture, good governance and apparatus commitment on preventing fraud in village funds, as well as to examine the moderation of awareness on these effects. The sample used was 87 village heads in the province of Bali, with the sampling method of proportionate stratified random sampling. The research data was obtained by adopting a survey design using a questionnaire, and tested and analyzed using multiple linear regression and MRA methods. So that we get the results that the tri hita karana culture, good governance and apparatus commitment have a significant positive effect on preventing fraud in village fund management, as well as the role of awareness that is able to moderate by increasing the influence of internal and external organizational factors in preventing fraud in village fund management.

Continuity of care is continuous midwifery care starting from the mother during pregnancy until the mother experiences premenopause. At this time a woman needs good health services to avoid reproductive diseases so that she can carry out her role as a woman optimally, so as to prevent maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. This research design uses the SCLR (Study Case Literature Review) method. After the author carried out midwifery care using a comprehensive approach and SOAP documentation on Mrs. F from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and BBL starting from January 4, 2022 - February 5 2022. Then the author will compare whether there is a gap or not, the gap between the care provided already given and existing theory. In pregnancy F has had midwifery care and no discrepancy was found between theory and real cases, Mrs. F received an examination according to the theory of pregnancy. Maternity care for Mrs. F there is no gap between the theory and the real case. Postpartum care for Mrs. F there is no gap between the theory and the real case. Mrs. F received 3 visits, namely: 6 hours, 6 days and 28 days of postpartum visits. Mrs. F is having a good postpartum period.Postpartum care for Mrs. F there is no gap between the theory and the real case. Mrs. F received 3 visits, namely: 6 hours, 6 days and 28 days of postpartum visits. Mrs. F is having a good postpartum period. Newborn care for Mrs. F there is no gap between the theory and the real case. BBL with good general condition, with normal vital signs. Strong in breastfeeding, after 28 days can 1 hour BBL suckle breast milk. Family planning care for Mrs. F there is no gap between the theory and the real case. After counseling Mrs. F chooses a 3-month injection KB with the approval of her husband. Planning to become a family planning acceptor for 3 months for 5 years.

This study aims to determine the effect of the variable quality of human resources, external regulations, managerial performance and job relevant information on the implementation of the budget in cooperatives in Badung Regency. This research was conducted in cooperatives in Badung Regency with a total sample of 74 cooperatives obtained from the slovin formula. The sampling technique was based on proportional cluster sampling and the number of respondents in this study was 222 respondents. This research is a quantitative research in the form of data in the form of numbers or qualitative data which is calculated with primary data using a questionnaire which is measured using a Likert scale. Analysis of research data using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study partially prove that the variables of the quality of human resources, external regulations, and job relevant information have a positive and significant effect on budget implementation. However, the managerial performance variable partially has no significant effect on the implementation of the budget.

The Traditional Songs of the Assamese: Voice and Connection The folk songs of Assam are mainly associated with rites and rituals; these folk songs reflect the livelihood of the Assamese community. The songs are related to Shitala Puja, Koli burhi nritya, Gopini naam, biya naam and Bihu geet, which have a unique position in traditional singing among the Assamese community. Sitala is a folk goddess and it is believed that she has is an intimidating presence who distributes infected pulses in village markets, or sends hordes of disease-demons, thus causing outbreaks of smallpox and other contagious illnesses. Only when properly worshipped she agrees to heal her victims (Ferrari 2015:2). The women sing Aai Naam to please the Goddess Shitala as she is described as the deification of smallpox. Koli burhi nritya is associated with Magh Bihu, which is a post-harvest festival, held in January. Koli burhi is an Assamese term, which means a black woman. Women put the burning banana leaves on their bodies and sing the song which is known as Koli burhi nrityar geet(the songs of black women). It is believed that burning banana leaves removes all the obstacles from their life. Durga Puja is a famous festival held in India and during this puja (The English term of puja is ritual) the Assamese women sing Gopini Naam to please the Goddess Bhagavati or Kamakhya (a form of Goddess Durga). Songs related to marriage are also very significant among the Assamese community, and these marriage songs are known as Biya naam. The song related to Bihu, which is the main harvest festival of Assam, held in mid-April, is known as Bihu geet. Merriment, love and sad these feelings are described through these Bihu geet. In this paper, an attempt has been made to highlight the traditional singing that is related to rituals among the communities of Assam, India.

A strong and sound financial system is a necessary precondition for accelerated growth of an economy. In a country like India, the banking system is the heart of the financial system since they infuse money in the system resulting in additional purchasing power. The rate of financial intermediation, capital formation and rate of economic growth are inextricably linked. Higher the rate of financial intermediation, higher the rate of capital formation and higher will be the economic growth rate and vice-versa. An organized, efficient, well-planned and viable banking system is, therefore, a demanded concomitant for development of a country. In this backdrop, the present paper strives to suggest a data driven index to assess the profitability performance of Indian PSBs during the study period.

This study aimed to analyze the direct effect of work-life and work-family conflict on organizational commitment and employee performance in a local Indonesian company. It also investigated the effect of quality of work-life on performance through organizational commitment as an intervening variable and the indirect effect of work-family performance through commitment organization as an intervening variable. This study used path analysis, F test, t-test, and Sobel test. Its sampling technique was a saturated sample using all population members, involving 102 respondents. This study indicated that the work-life quality had a significant positive effect on performance and the work-family conflict negatively affected performance. Work-life quality had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment; work-family conflict had no significant and negative effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment significant positive effect on performance. There was an indirect influence between the work-life qualiy on performance through organizational commitment. There was an indirect effect of work-family conflict on performance through organizational commitment.

Ho Chi Minh was great leader who wholeheartedly devoted himself to the country and the happiness of the people. His lessons and ideas are timeless, as evidenced by the fact that they have been studied continuously by scholars from all over the world. The political communication is just one component of that. Despite the fact that under the presidency of Ho Chi Minh, this concept was most likely still quite vague, the methods that Ho Chi Minh utilized in political communication demonstrated a significant amount of progress. In the following article, we will concentrate on the primary strategies that President Ho Chi Minh utilized in the course of his political communication endeavors. The content of this article is broken up into three sections: the first section introduces some fundamental concepts and rationale; the second part analyzes President Ho Chi Minhs style of political communication; and the third and final section provides some comments and evaluations.

Globalization has made interactions between Christians and Muslims not only inevitable but also very urgent. As Francis Arinze notes, we are living in a world in which contacts between peoples, cultures, and religions are happily increasing. Therefore, the need for healthy interaction has necessitated understanding the religious traditions of others. Nostra Aetate was the bedrock for the relationship between Catholics and non-Catholics. One of the fruits of Nostra Aetate was the institution of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID). As the Director of PCID, Thomas F. Michel SJ promoted programs that fostered conversations between Catholics and non-Catholics. According to Michel, three phrases from Nostra Aetate shaped his concept of interreligious dialogue: The Church regards with esteem also the Moslems. They adore the One, God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth Since in centuries, not a few quarrels and hostilities have arisen between Christians and Moslems. This sacred synod urges all to forget the past and to work sincerely for mutual understanding and to preserve as well as to promote together for the benefit of all mankind social justice and moral welfare, as well as peace and freedom. According to Michel, these phrases from Nostra Aetate challenge Christians and Muslims to work together in four essential areas: 1) to build peace 2), to work for justice 3), to defend moral values, and 4), to work for freedom. Michel asserts that to respond to Nostra Aetates challenge, dialogue must go beyond theories and ideas; it must be institutionalized. Michel proposes practical dialogue as a key to an effective interfaith interaction that would transform society. This article analyzes Michels approach to dialogue and contends that Nigeria should consider practical dialogue a significant component of interreligious dialogue between Christians and Muslims.

This research is motivated by the demands of the 21st century which requires students to have skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving and creativity and innovation. These skills are in the stage of higher order thinking or what we usually call HOTS. Like critical thinking skills, creativity is equally important in learning at school. Therefore, educators can find appropriate learning models to develop the creativity of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the steps of the HOTS-based Project Learning model and to analyze students critical thinking skills and creativity through the HOTS-based Project Learning model in learning . The Project Learning model which is a combination of PBL and PjBL is an answer to a model that can be used to develop critical and creative thinking skills of elementary school students. The method used for this research is research and development (Research and Development) . This R&D method is intended to produce a product. The research stages can be detailed as follows: (1) pre-field stage or preparation stage, (2) advanced stage, Development of HOTS-based Project Learning Learning Models, (3) post-field stage where the research team prepares reports. The research activity begins with basic research on the learning model that has been used by teachers at SD Lahan Basah, Banjar Regency, then to the stage of developing the Project Learning learning model which is a solution to stimulate students critical and creative thinking skills . Based on the results obtained in learning using the Project Learning model, it is concluded that learning using this model can improve students critical thinking skills and creativity in learning, the average student also shows an increase and achieves N gain in the high category. The results of the research will be followed up in the form of scientific publications which are implemented in community service programs and further research and research outputs include publications in reputable international journals.

Students careers are important in their lives because they will have to make decisions about their careers later in life. This study aims to examine the key predictors of Career Maturity between Vocational Aspiration and Self-Concept among the senior secondary school adolescents. Three measures are employed in the quantitative study design, including a self-concept questionnaire developed and normed by Saraswat (2011), the Occupational Aspiration Scale by J.S. Grewal (2011), and the Career Maturity Inventory by Nirmala Gupta (2013). These scales disseminated to students from the four senior secondary government and private schools of Kannauj district. Using the simple random sampling method, a total of 376 senior secondary school adolescents were involved in the study. The findings show that among senior secondary school students enrolled in both government and private institutions, vocational aspiration became a significant factor in predicting career maturity. Career Maturity was found to have significant correlation with Vocational Aspiration while no relationship was found with self-concept for total sample and sub samples. Female students were found to have better Career Maturity than males while opposite trend was seen for Vocational Aspiration. Although, the self-concept of males and females was observed to be similar. Moreover, Female students have better capability to make or choose proper vocational choices, including awareness required for choosing career according to their skills, interests, values and personality traits. However, male students were having more aspirations for the career or vocation.

Mental health difficulties in adolescence have an eternal impact, that does not only affect later adult mental health, but also impacts physical wellbeing, educational accomplishment, and workforce participation and contentment.¾ of mental health problems start before the early 20s (Kessler et al, 2014). The stage of adolescence, the most important stage in human development is different from other developmental stages marked by challenges and transitions. Self-regulation may be related to mental health as it may help in controlling and managing actions upsetting emotions and impulses. The present study aims to examine self-regulation as a predictor of mental health. The research methodology employed for the study is a correlational. 76 adolescents were selected through a simple random sampling method. Standardized tools were used to collect data. Data analysis included descriptive statistic like Mean and SD. Multiple regression analyses were conducted to analyze the data. Results indicated a significant coefficient correlation between self-regulation and mental health (0.63). Self-regulations sub dimensions were analyzed with mental healths sub dimensions.

One of the most important skills for communicating in real life is the ability to listen. It is becoming increasingly vital to develop when studying a foreign language. Everyone understands that hearing a message is not the same as listening to it, listeners must comprehend the message and respond appropriately. The study finds the difficulties of the first year English majors in listening abilities. The participants were thirty-six freshmen majoring in English, course 16 at Tay Do University. Questionnaire and paper interview were delivered to collect problems. The results showed that background knowledge, length and speed of the text, unfamiliar vocabulary, and different accent were the major listening comprehension difficulties. Basing on these difficulties, English learners can find out suitable learning ways to improve their listening skill. It may also be useful for those who are interested in this field.

The author identifies some legal problems that hinder the development of digitalization of public administration, suggests opinions on the further development of digitalization of public administration.

This study aims to analyze 93 English language teaching faculty members perspectives of online teaching at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this study was to collect evaluative responses on online teaching experiences. This study addressed the following research question; What are teachers perceptions of online teaching at English Language Skills Department at King Saud University in terms of: online vs. classroom teaching mode, personal factors in online teaching and students factors in online classes. This was a quantitative study where the researcher adapted a questionnaire from Nambiar (2020) to investigate the perspectives of KSU English language teachers towards online teaching at a college level. Findings show significant percentages of teachers who stated that online teaching improved their skills and boosted their confidence, at 40% and 34%. Also, most teachers found online classes convenient, innovative and improve their teaching skills. However, 14% of the teachers argued that technical issues affected learning. Moreover, most of the teachers claimed that the students lacked interest, made excuses and did not take online classes seriously. It was also noticeable that the implementation of online learning was very well valued because it helped the teachers develop their personal teaching skills. On the other hand, their students lack of interest was what most of the teachers agreed on.

Journalism is a field in society that will have to undergo digital transformation according to the general development trend, and even develop into a digital media economy. Digital transformation in journalism is not simply a mechanical release into the digital environment. Still, digital transformation is the processing of information obtained from the digital ecosystem, while also facing a number of difficulties such as human resources, finance, fake information, etc. The article focuses on presenting some key features of the current state of digital transformation in journalism, raising challenges in the digital transformation process in the journalism sector, and making some recommendations to transform the field of journalism more effectively in the near future.

Most of the attentional performance rhythms have been studied in order to organize school peri and extracurricular time in children. The chronopsychological data available on the development of these rhythms are, to our knowledge, rare. It therefore seems necessary, from a developmental and differentia perspective, to address these fluctuations in attentional performance not only in children but also in adults and the elderly. The present study therefore aims to investigate the influence of age and time of day on attentional performance. To do this, 171 participants were divided into three age groups: 88 children (divided into 2 groups: 5-7 years and 9-12 years), 56 adults (divided into 2 groups: 20-35 years and 36-59 years) and 27 seniors (60-72 years). The results indicate that attentional performance varies differently depending on the time of day and that this variation becomes constant and stable with age. Moreover, the level of attention increases with age and this evolution becomes stable from the age of 35.

The communitys view of life and culture is determined by the language of the community itself, both in the form of language sounds and thought patterns, including the mindset about the perceived importance of ownership and nutritious food for infants/toddlers who are vulnerable to malnutrition and stunting (GBS). The problem is how young mothers think about the importance of child ownership and food for their babies/children and how it affects GBS. This is important to know because GBS babies are predicted not only because of economic factors, but because of their mindset. The purpose of this study is to reveal the mindset of mothers who have GBS babies about the perceived importance of child ownership and their toddlers daily diet. This research was conducted in Jember Regency which has a very high rate of GBS babies and maternal mortality. The data is in the form of words and sentences of young mothers about the perceived importance of having a baby/child and nutritious food. Sources of data from participants were young mothers with GBS babies, posyandu cadres, village officials, and community leaders. Collecting data using observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation with note-taking and recording techniques. After being classified, the data were analyzed using descriptive analytical, interpretation, and comparative approaches. The results show that the mindset of young mothers who have GBS babies is of the view that ownership of babies/children and nutritious food is very important. However, the fact is that they are still more concerned with nutritious food for their husbands and the purchase of valuable items so that it has an impact on the occurrence of GBS because children are not an asset, but as a deposit and a burden on the family. In conclusion, the mindset of mothers who consider babies/children as family assets affects the prevention of GBS (stunting) babies, starting from pregnancy, baby, and magnification

The present study seeks to explore taboo in parenting tradition to young women in Gorontalo. It employed a qualitative approach that relied on primary and secondary data. The results highlight that the parenting tradition towards young women in Gorontalo involved taboo narratives, some of them also involved the use of myths. The taboo narratives that are discovered in this study are: 1) taboo as education of discipline and time management, e.g., prohibition of taking a nap in the afternoon due to the myth that if someone does it, s/he will transform into a ghost. 2) taboo as education of manners, e.g., prohibition of removing fleas from hair in front of stairways due to the fear of difficulty of finding a partner. 3) taboo as a form of respect towards others, e.g., prohibition of stepping over someone who is laying down or sleeping due to the myth that the persons good luck will be removed from one (if someone already steps over a lying person, s/he must step over the person again, but backwards). 4) taboo as a form of encouragement of work ethic, e.g., prohibition of reminding someone to store some food for oneself before leaving due to the myth that the persons fortunes will be hindered. 5) taboo as education of caution, e.g., prohibition of opening an umbrella inside the house due to the fear of suffering from short stature that will also impact the persons children.

One of the thorniest issues regarding language in education in the majority of post-colonial countries is the issue of the language(s) of instruction. This study examines how Moroccan high school science teachers perceive the language of instruction when teaching scientific subjects. The Frame Law 51 17, which stipulates the use of foreign languages in the teaching of scientific subjects, is the point of departure. As such, the study main objective is to explore the appropriate language(s) of instruction in regards to the teaching of scientific subjects from high school science teachers perspective. In this study, a questionnaire was administered to 66 high school science teachers randomly chosen. The questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS. In parallel, interviews were conducted with nine science teachers which were analyzed using Braun and Clarkes 2006 Thematic Analysis. Different results were revealed most importantly the positive attitudes that science teachers have towards English as a means of instruction, the incompatibility of language planning and policy (LPP) with the teaching/learning process needs inter alia. These results can be seen of great importance for syllabus designers, researchers in the field and teachers to understand more the nature of the issue. Accordingly, some recommendations to better the teaching/learning process regarding scientific subjects are suggested.

Names are an essential part of human existence since almost every real object, from man himself to the objects of nature, has its own name. Names of places in linguistics are known as toponyms. Toponyms play a multidimensional role in the society be it geographically, historically or sociocultural. Thus, toponyms have caught the attention of researchers since they offer a wide range of research from form to motivation. This paper analyses Lubukusu toponyms from a social cultural context. The paper aims at showing how toponyms are embedded in cultural and historical features of Bukusu people. The study applied Tent and Blairs (2011, 2014) toponymic typology theoretical framework. The study employed a descriptive research design and more so ethnography. The place names analyzed were observed from various sources such streets which were later interpreted through interviews and focused group discussions. The findings of the study show that Lubukusu toponyms remain important cultural sources and spatial records of past generations. Therefore, toponyms play a significant role in preserving the identity of the local population and as such, they are also an important part of the cultural heritage.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how language is used to represent the menace of corruption in Kenyan Print Media. Corruption has become a burning issue in Kenya as a country and in organizational research. It has been a long-standing debate in the Kenyan political and economic sphere, relevant not only at the national level but also having impact in rural areas where county governments were introduced through the 2010 constitution. However, few studies examine how corruption issue is socially constructed linguistically in print media. The study examines all reportage on corruption as a social issue in the Daily newspaper and the Standard Newspaper from February 2020 to February 2021. The study applied Fairclough’s (1989, 1990, 2001) Critical Discourse Analysis theoretical framework. The study employed analytical research design. The findings of the study revealed the use of linguistic elements that advance and amplify the reporting on corruption related issues. Such elements include the use of lexical items such as nouns and verbs, voice, epithets and indigenization. The results show that messages on corruption are framed in a persuasive manner to influence the readers and to evoke thoughts on this menace that has hardly affected the taxpayers. The study concludes that language is a powerful tool that newspaper writers use to influence the readers and to evoke thoughts on corruption that has hardly affected the taxpayers.

This research uses the knowledge mapping tool CiteSpace to categorize the publications about education and teaching inside and outside China during the COVID-19 epidemic condition, and to conduct a quantitative analysis of 370 papers in the Web of Science database and 325 papers in the core journals of CNKI. Keyword co-occurrence and cluster comparison are used to examine the epicenters of activity and the directions education and training are taking amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examines similarities and contrasts between Chinese and international research priorities in the field of education in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aims to examine how the juridical consequences of errors on the part of hospitals and doctors in handling health care for patients. As for the subject of this study is how the legal relationship between Hospitals, Doctors and Patients in the health treatment agreement, and the legal consequences of errors and omissions in health care. The research method used in this study is normative juridical using secondary legal data consisting of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the legal relationship between the patient and the doctor is a joint participation relationship where the patient already feels equal to the doctor. Delay in treatment by a doctor is a form of default, namely being late in doing what was promised to be done. Hospitals can also be responsible in this case committing acts against the law, because they do not provide safe, quality, anti-discriminatory, and effective health services by prioritizing the interests of patients in accordance with hospital service standards, resulting in fatal outcomes for patients.

This study aims to find out about the position and role of the Indonesian Press Council in handling cases at the investigation stage of the spread of hoax news through online media. This study uses normative legal research methods. This research was conducted using library materials or secondary data from various literature and laws and regulations related to this research. This research is analytical-descriptive, so the results of this study indicate that to find out the mechanism of the position of the Indonesian Press Council as a witness in the investigation of cases of spreading hoax news, the Press Law stipulates that in the event of a dispute involving legal issues, the Press Council is given the authority to resolve the dispute in question. Thus, the party harmed by the news must first exercise the right of reply as stipulated in the Journalistic Code of Ethics. Furthermore, the Press Council is not equipped with the legal authority to impose coercive legal sanctions. For example, journalists who supported specific political causes. Although the Press Council was able to identify him, the Press Council was not authorized to impose any sanctions. The Press Council will examine the journalists journalistic work unless it is a public complaint. Suppose the journalists job is proven to violate ethics. In that case, the Press Council can provide a statement of assessment and recommendations so that the press concerned can improve its performance while admitting its mistakes.

The purpose of establishing a company is to survive in the future by earning a profit every year. The purpose of this study was to compare the financial performance of franchising companies, between PT. Master of Indonesian Culinary with Velvet Project, period 2018 and 2019. The analysis method uses a comparative analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios and profitability ratios for 2 (two) periods. The conclusion of the study is that the liquidity ratio of the two companies is less than 200%, meaning that the company s performance can be said to be less good. The solvency ratio of the two companies shows an up and down movement. The ratio of its activities, the company PT. This Indonesian Culinary Master is quite good and effective in managing company resources and the profitability ratios of both companies show a decrease in net profit.

This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of work motivation as an intermediary variable in the influence of organizational culture and organizational climate through work motivation on teachers Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). It employed a quantitative approach using the type of correlational research with path analysis. The research population was 172 elementary school teachers in Lampihong, with a sample of 120 teachers determined by using proportional random sampling. The data were collected through questionnaires which were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The conclusion of this study is organizational culture and organizational climate in the very high classification, while work motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the high classification. The suggestions given to the principal of elementary school teachers in Lampihong are in order to maintain OCB behavior, understanding the organizations mission and support at work, so that teachers are happy to be willing to work overtime to complete work, ready to work outside working hours, attendance at work is above standards set by the organization, and participate in education and training without being instructed.

Performance is the process of doing a job seen from the skills, abilities or competencies used to achieve the level of success in carrying out tasks. It is also the ability to achieve goals that have been set. Meanwhile, work achievements are goals that have been achieved by someone. Teacher performance is a determining factor in achieving educational goals. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of the principal transformational leadership, work ethic and work motivation on teacher performance. This research study uses a descriptive correlational research with path analysis. The research sample was 149 people. Data collection was carried out using an instrument consisting of transformational leadership of school principals as many as 36 items, 40 items for work ethic aspect, and 43 items work motivation which have been tested for validity and reliability using a correlation test while teacher performance is measured through PKG. The research data were analyzed using path analysis to find the direct and indirect effects between variables by first conducting the normality, linearity, and homogeneity tests. The results showed that there were direct and indirect effects between the principal transformational leadership, work ethic , and work motivation on teacher performance.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct and indirect effect of Organizational Culture, Spiritual Quotient on Job Satisfaction and Performance of State Senior High School Teachers in Jekan Raya, Palangka Raya. This research employed a quantitative with correlation technique (correlational research). The research population was teachers of three schools in Palangka Raya, namely SMAN 3 Palangka Raya, SMAN 4 Palangka Raya and SMAN 5 Palangka Raya. As many as 238 teachers and 159 respondents were taken as research samples taken with random sampling technique. The data were collected by using a questionnaire instrument Organizational Culture (25 items), Spiritual Quotient (12 items), Job Satisfaction (21 items) and Teacher Performance (19 items). The data was analyzed by using path analysis. The results of this study indicate that the value of the variable regression coefficient is a positive number such as Organizational Culture (X1 ) with Job Satisfaction (Z) of 0.689, Organizational Culture (X1 ) with Teacher Performance (Y) of 0.621, Spiritual Quotient (X2 ) with Job Satisfaction (Z) is 1.499, Spiritual Quotient (X 2 ) with Teacher Performance (Y) is 1.348, Job Satisfaction (Z) is with Teacher Performance (Y) is 0.908, Organizational Culture (X 1 ) is Job Satisfaction (Z) through Teacher Performance (Y) is 0.563, Spiritual Quotient (X2 ) with Job Satisfaction (Z) through Teacher Performance (Y) is 1.223.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of professional competence and communication on work productivity through teacher work discipline. This research was a quantitative research with path analysis. The study population was 172 with a research sample of 120 people. The data were collected using instruments consisting of professional competence (47 items), communication (30 items), work discipline (31 items), work productivity (35 items) that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis of this study used path analysis. The results of this study found that there was an effect of professional competence on work productivity, communication on work productivity, discipline on work productivity, professional competence on discipline, communication on discipline, professional competence on discipline and work productivity, communication on discipline and work productivity.

This study aims to analyze and describe student development, school policies and differences in student coaching strategies for student participants in schools participating in the Wall and Floor Tilling competency competition at the South Kalimantan province level. The research approach used was qualitative with the type of case study. The research instrument wa s the researchers themselves. The data were collected by using interviews, observation, and documentation. The research participants were determined by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis techniques consisted of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The validity of the data used observation extension techniques, increasing persistence, reference materials, triangulation, and member check. The results of the study suggested that on both sites the student development model for LKS participants is in accordance with the competency-based training model. The coaching process has been going well, as evidenced by the determination of student participants from the selection results, the determination of supervising teachers from the appointment of vocational teachers, the coaching process by providing training and selection to students. The scheduled training was done with basic knowledge and skills as well as practice of using previous competition jobsheets. The policies of the two sites include the use of activity budgets, adequate infrastructure, school support in terms of moral and material. Differences were found in student coaching. At SMKN 2 Kandangan, it is carried out in extracurricular activities for the competition, while at SMKN 5 Banjarmasin in co-curricular activities outside the KBM schedule. Then, training facilities at SMKN 2 Kandangan have special walls with 3 different types of pedestals and use alternative cement materials for cost savings and training. Meanwhile, t here are more parties involved in coaching SMKN 2 Kandangan participants, from alumni who have won nationalinternational champions, teachers who have served and trainers from national vocational training centers.

Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) or Islamic Junior High School teachers in Balangan Regency merely prioritize aspects of learning outcomes, while the correlation between Emotional Intelligence, Interopersonal Communication and Work Discipline with MTs Teacher Performance in Balangan Regency tends to be neglected. Therefore, this study aims to describe and analyze the direct and indirect correlation of work discipline as an intermediary variable in the correlation between emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication with teacher performance. The population of this study was 201 MTs teachers in Balangan Regency, with a sample of 134 people. This study utilized a descriptive and inferential statistics through SPSS 22. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The results showed that there were: (1) emotional intelligence, work discipline and teacher performanc e included in the very high classification and interpersonal communication in the high classification. (2) There is a direct correlation between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, work discipline, and teacher performance. (3) There is an indire ct correlation between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, and teacher performance through work discipline.

The purpose of establishing a company is to survive in the future by earning a profit every year. The purpose of this study was to compare the financial performance of franchising companies, between PT. Master of Indonesian Culinary with Velvet Project, period 2018 and 2019. The analysis method uses a comparative analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios and profitability ratios for 2 (two) periods. The conclusion of the study is that the liquidity ratio of the two companies is less than 200%, meaning that the companys performance can be said to be less good. The solvency ratio of the two companies shows an up and down movement. The ratio of its activities, the company PT. This Indonesian Culinary Master is quite good and effective in managing company resources and the profitability ratios of both companies show a decrease in net profit.

The quality of education in Barito Kuala is still below the standard and illustrates that the learning quality in senior high school is not maximum. Therefore, this study aims to analyze: teacher academic supervision toward learning quality throu gh competence and work motivation of teachers in A-Accredited Public High Schools in Barito Kuala. This study employed a quantitative descriptive research with a total sample of 124 teachers of Public Senior High Schools with A-accredited in Barito Kuala. The data collection technique was done by distributing questionnaires. The techniques used in analyzing the data we re multiple correlation techniques and path diagrams to display an overview of the correlation between variables according to the assumptions used. Based on the results of calculations and analysis with multiple correlations, it is shown that all statistical hypotheses where t-count > t-table are at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that there is a significant correlation between academic supervision and teacher competence, there is a direct effect of teacher academic supervision on teacher work motivation, there is a direct effect of teacher competence on the quality of learning, there is a direct effect of teacher work motivation on learning quality, there is a direct effect of teacher academic supervision on the quality of learning, there is an indirect effect between teacher academic supervision on the quality of learning through teacher competence, and there is an indirect effect between teacher academic supervision on the quality of learning through teacher work motivation. A professional teacher is expected to master his/her scientific field and be able to transfer it well to the students. Therefore, teachers in improving innovation and creativity need to be supported by the quality of learning that has good quality and high motivation. In achieving this, the role of the principal must contribute to the success, excellence, and quality of the school.

This study aims to determine how the role of community participation in mediating the relationship between perceptions of community based tourism and the sustainability performance of the tourism industry. This research was conducted in Pinggan Village by taking 100 samples with stratified random sampling method. The approach used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS) with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) equation model. The result of this study is that community participation has a positive effect on the perception of community based tourism. Community based tourism has a positive effect on the sustainability of the performance of the tourism industry. Community participation mediates the relationship between community based tourism and the sustainability performance of the tourism industry. The results of this study can be used as a reference in viewing and making decisions regarding the performance of villages tourism in Indonesia and countries that have natural and unique cultural wealth.

Sex work is not a new concept in Bangladesh; sex work is centuries old. Bangladeshi society does not regard prostitution as a noble profession, so it must face many challenges. The challenges become more complex when a prostitute becomes a mother. In this study, the researchers investigated how a prostitute mother passes her life through these difficulties. The researchers also analyzed the mental and physical violence of the prostitute mothers and their children. 30 participants were collected from the Cumilla district in Bangladesh using the interview method in an unstructured way, and the Snowball sampling method was used to collect the data. The study shows that most sex workers and prostitute mothers suffer from various challenges like child-rearing, childrens education, and security, ensuring nutritious food for themselves and their children, and deficient earnings. Despite having the same motherly feelings as other mothers, prostitute mothers are forced to send their children (78 %) to relatives or maidservants. The rest of the children can stay with their prostitute mothers at the workplace. To survive in society, sex workers must be tense about their future; the matters are excruciating, especially for prostitute mothers.

This research was motivated by low English vocabulary skills, reading literacy and numeracy based on data and findings in the field. In addition, it is also caused by English being removed from subjects in elementary schools and the absence of facilities to stimulate students to improve reading and numeracy literacy in kindergarten children and early grade elementary school students. Based on these problems, researchers create or develop teaching materials in improving English vocabulary skills, reading literacy and numeracy of kindergarten and elementary school students in the early grades of elementary school. Teaching materials are a product needed in learning to improve teacher efficiency and improve student performance. Teaching materials found in the field are still unable to improve students English vocabulary skills, reading literacy and numeracy. In addition, the teaching materials used by students are not based on the environment around students, especially wetlands. This research uses a type of research and development (Research and Development) using the Plomp model intended to produce a product. The research stage can be detailed as follows: (1) earlystage research, (2) prototype stage, wetland-based teaching materials, (3) development results are tested based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research produced teaching materials based on Tanah Basah to improve English vocabulary, reading literacy and numeracy skills of low-grade children. The teaching materials developed are in accordance with the development of Plom. The results of the research on this teaching material product were assessed by 4 validators of linguists, mathematicians, English linguists, and design experts and the results showed that the teaching materials criteria were valid to be applied in schools. In the practicality test assessment, obtain practical categories, both kindergarten and low-grade teaching materials. And the effectiveness test assessment obtained an effective category on kindergarten and low-grade teaching materials.

This research uses the knowledge mapping tool CiteSpace to categorize the publications about education and teaching inside and outside China during the COVID-19 epidemic condition, and to conduct a quantitative analysis of 370 papers in the Web of Science database and 325 papers in the core journals of CNKI. Keyword co-occurrence and cluster comparison are used to examine the epicenters of activity and the directions education and training are taking amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examines similarities and contrasts between Chinese and international research priorities in the field of education in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aims to examine how the juridical consequences of errors on the part of hospitals and doctors in handling health care for patients. As for the subject of this study is how the legal relationship between Hospitals, Doctors and Patients in the health treatment agreement, and the legal consequences of errors and omissions in health care. The research method used in this study is normative juridical using secondary legal data consisting of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the legal relationship between the patient and the doctor is a joint participation relationship where the patient already feels equal to the doctor. Delay in treatment by a doctor is a form of default, namely being late in doing what was promised to be done. Hospitals can also be responsible in this case committing acts against the law, because they do not provide safe, quality, anti-discriminatory, and effective health services by prioritizing the interests of patients in accordance with hospital service standards, resulting in fatal outcomes for patients.
